Bob Ross- Winter Barn

If you need a source of inspiration, look no further than Bob Ross’ show, ‘The Joy of Painting’. With his calm presence and simple techniques, anyone can paint. I am covering episode nine of season eleven, called ‘Winter Barn.’

In this video, it starts with the use of transparent colors to achieve a very calm but colorful winter sky. Bob chose in this painting to use warm colors in a usually cold color setting. He personally likes to use warm colors in winter scenes because all cool colors according to him; “distracting that makes you uncomfortable to look at it.” By making something different than the norm can not only help your work stand out over others, but can help you try new techniques that could solidify your particular style.

Bob’s use of improvisation in his work is very impressive. He “used to antagonize over paintings for months”, but his calm form of improvisation can help artists not to overthink their next step and also encourage them to have fun in their creativity. He uses phrases like; “in my world, a tree would be here.” His world, his art; and the rest of us can do the same thing ourselves. If we, like Bob go under a “bravery test” or “check us out for our bravery” like Bob himself does, maybe we can create things we didn’t think we could before.

Week 1 Summary:

I’m glad to see an instructor I knew from a previous semester. It helps me know what I am in for! But because of that same fact, I already had a WordPress created for academic reasons, and it was perfect!

I think registered my blog with DS106 and added it to the Student Info page on Canvas. I did set up social media like Discord and created a Twitter and Spotify just for this course.

10 Ways to Share Your Creativity and Get Discovered! : Response

There are 10 ways to share creativity and share it to a public platform. One of the ways that really resonated with me was the idea of “learning to take a punch”. It is discussing how to look at and work past criticism from viewers of your work. Making your creativity public can bring support or defensive behavior. It’s up to the creator to decide if they will appreciate the support and at the same time, let the negative feedback effect you less.

This personally resonated with me due to my current personal project. Yes, I am 27, and yes, I did sign up for TikTok over a year ago. I didn’t do much with it until I made a post about historical figures that went viral. It soon became a series that drew in a quarter of a million followers and 12 million views in the last 60 days alone. In that time, I have had a huge flood of support from followers and casual viewers. With that, comes hate from anonymous accounts and followers alike. I have received death threats and homophobic speech to upset me. I have to learn to take a punch even with something like this.

It does get to me sometimes, I can’t lie about that. But, I choose how I respond and continue to create. I love what I do because it’s for fun and I love to learn, and I have attracted an audience that loves to learn as much as I do. Just like the article said, “the more criticism you take, the more you realize it can’t hurt you.”

“Everything is a Remix” Video Reflection

The basic view of creators is that you need to draw inspiration from somewhere, and being inspired by different creations of others can revolutionize ideas. Box office success relies heavily on already existing material. So lately, a lot of movies have been either sequels or remakes of original films or stories. We have adaptations and sequels adapted based on park rides, blogs, books, etc. Since the beginning of cinema, we see references, remakes and adaptations of other works done by other people. Using Avatar as an example, it’s a part of a subgenre about “sorry about colonialism”; similar to films like Ferngully and Pocahontas who tackled the same subject matter. While it is an original and successful movie, it’s not an original idea that was executed. Even Star Wars comes from stories in books and movies like Flash Gordon and Akira Kurosawa’s films. Western films were also an inspiration for Star Wars, like the Good the Bad and Ugly. George Lucas combined inspirations and transformed it, making it his own. Kill Bill is also one of the best examples of drawing inspiration from various sources.

Copyright seems to impact creativity and ideas more than we know.  Ideas are considered as property in the law. Ideas used to be free and could be openly copied and built upon. But, time and time again, original creations can’t seem compete with the price of copies if the copies can be made cheaper. Copyright gave creators time to have the ideas for themselves, before it goes into the public domain. Take Disney as an example; they have taken many stories from the public domain, and when Mickey’s image was in jeopardy, they got territorial from anyone using his image. Steve Jobs wanted to go to war with Android for stealing his ideas. A lot of people don’t have a problem copying, as long as we are the ones doing it and it isn’t done it us. In terms of the law, the fuzziness of boundaries has made things a turf war, which has lost billions of dollars.

What considerations should be made when repurposing the work of others? When we repurpose someone else’s ideas or creativity, we have to give credit where it’s due. Even if it’s something small as an art design that you may have seen an Instagram. We need to keep in mind that we need to give the credit we would want people to give us if we created or thought of something new. Now, there isn’t a foolproof way to do this, because there will always be people who try to cut corners and not take the appropriate steps to share someone’s idea. Some people will simply take ideas or designs and think they will not be caught, or the person might be too obscure that no one will even notice, or even think the original creator was copying. There will always be problems with this unless we make the laws around copyright less vague and fuzzy.

Digital Media Assignments:

Before and After the End: “Take a before/after photo of a person, place, or thing that has survived the apocalpyse. Then use Juxtapose to share a comparison of your two photos. Try not to rely too heavily on Photoshop or other photo editors to show the changes.” Photos by VicBlog, editing by Adobe Photoshop.

Writing Assignment: Conformity

Peer pressure is something everyone faces at one time or another in their lives. Since we were young, our brains have been almost programmed to go along with what everyone else is involved with; whether it’s safe or not. We heard the lectures about how dangerous peer pressure can be, but a lot of us ignore it for the sake of acceptance. It’s all about acceptance of others being the driving force in one’s self worth. Some people live their whole lives to please others while putting their wants or goals to the side.

Usually people that continue with this pursuit of acceptance in adulthood, it is clear that they are unsure of who they are outside of their peers. If they won’t accept it, then it shouldn’t exist. These people seem to put other’s opinions and mindsets over their own and then justify that choice. Conforming to everyone around you takes away any individuality that makes one set apart from others.

Nonconformity is refusing to conform to a prevailing practice. One of the earliest times I tried to not conform was in 10th grade US History. I had a project with three other students, and halfway in, one of the group members brought out Jose Cuervo Gold and offered shots to everyone. A huge part of me told me to bolt, even though I wanted to know what tequila tastes like at the time (which I wasn’t missing out, I came to discover later). I didn’t have a car, and so I called my dad to come pick me up and I told him about the shots being handed out. He came to get me, and told me I made a very smart choice. I didn’t feel like it at first, but I felt way better that I didn’t do something that everyone else was doing even if it made me even slightly uncomfortable.

Since that moment, I knew it was okay to not be into what everyone else was into. I didn’t care about alcohol, drugs or parties at people’s houses. I didn’t care about fashion trends or slang that people used, even if it was offensive. I look back, proud of 10th grade Tori, because I always knew who I was and when I was tested, I stuck by that. I kept that mindset into adulthood, and it has been very beneficial.

I know that I continue to not conform, even in my life choices as an adult. Whether it’s not being pressured to take one more shot even if I’m already tipsy, or pursuing a major that is male dominated. At this point in my life, I have a pretty clear mindset of where I want to go, and I know what steps I need to do to get there. If something doesn’t align with those steps to success, it’s considered a low priority. Yes, I go out the least from my friends, and while I miss out on fun and drinking, I am further ahead in my education than all of my friends, and I can spare nights of drinking for an overall goal, regardless of who I temporarily disappoint.

Daily Creative: Godzilla:

I have many Funko pops, and I saw the daily create was themed around Godzilla. I saw the inspiration, so I wanted to see Funko Godzilla take over Japan!

I put a darker overlay on the Funko so it would align better with the colors in the background. I applied a mask to Godzilla so I could move him to the Japan city background. I added some shadows with a blurry brush and did some spot healing for some details.

Daily Creative: Malaphors

I decided to take a spin on ‘serial killer’, and make it ‘cereal’. I took a bowl of cereal and a kitchen knife, and added a mosaic effect to it. I tried to keep it as simple as possible.

Mickey Mouse takes Deadmau5 to Court: Reflection

This article shows that Disney really takes advantage of their ability to sue others over even small matters. Disney has always had a huge array of lawyers to help in their legal battles against Etsy shoes, Megaupload.com, YouTube and hundreds of unauthorized dealers and artists. Disney went as far as to sue a family that bought an unauthorized Tigger and Eeyore costumes on Ebay for $1 millions; all for Halloween costumes. Then it was Deadmau5 for having a Mickey shaped helmet he wears during performances.

Disney’s copyright issues go further than that. Disney has been known to try to copyright holidays and figures of mythology. Back when Disney’s ‘Coco’ was released, Disney was trying to get copyright for the hispanic holiday Day of the Dead, which didn’t sit well with the hispanic community. After that, when Marvel’s ‘Loki’ was released, Disney attempted to copyright Loki, who is a character in Norse mythology. Disney tried to own the rights to a figure in mythology that existed long before Disney itself.

Disney’s persistence knows no bounds. That’s why shows like South Park and Family Guy take digs at Disney for their controlling practices, from monitoring their actors to their copyright battles. Disney has been known across the board to play dirty in terms of Disney property. This is all ironic, considering the fact that Disney has taken many stories out of public domain to make theirs, but god forbid anyone does the same to them.

Week 2 Summary:

Week 2 was way more creative, which I enjoyed. I really liked learning more about copying in media and the use of copyright across media. I found it all super informative, and very enlightening about copying in media like music, movies and art. I learned how so many amazing artists have been inspired by so many people to create new things.

My favorite project for this week, hands down was Funko Godzilla takeover. I like the concept of daily creates, and I found this one to be simple, fast and super fun to put together. It ended up looking pretty much the way I envisioned, and I always love putting together projects that make me happy to create.

Overall, I found this week to be informative and very enjoyable in terms of creativity.

Shapes of Stories: The Wizard of Oz

  1. Dorothy Gale living in Kansas.
  2. Tornado hits Dorothy’s house.
  3. Dorothy arrives in Oz.
  4. Dorothy meets the Wicked Witch of the West.
  5. Dorothy meets the Scarecrow, Tin-Man and Cowardly Lion.
  6. The Wicked Witch sets a trap in the poppy fields.
  7. Dorothy meets the Wizard, and he gives the task to return the Wicked Witch’s broom.
  8. Dorothy gets captured by the Wicked Witch.
  9. Dorothy escapes and covers the Wicked Witch in water and returns the broom to the Wizard.
  10. Dorothy and friends discover the Wizard is a fraud.
  11. Wizard awards gifts to friends, and offers to bring Dorothy home.
  12. Wizard leaves Dorothy behind.
  13. “There is no place like home.” and Dorothy returns home to Kansas to her family.

This story definitely does not have a typical story structure, because the Wizard of Oz keeps one’s attention with constant ups and downs. As a child, my mother said that the Wizard of Oz was one of the older movies that could keep my attention, because new things always came around the corner; good or bad. There is a back and forth shift of something good happening to Dorothy, and then her fortune declines when the Wicked Witch intercedes. The line finally goes up again when she finally gets to go home.

Daily Create: Make A Car on the Love Train

The theme for this daily create was “make a car on the love train”, so I decided to put together something quick and easy on Photoshop to fit the theme while using a color scheme that shows love and happiness.

Writing Assignment: To Sophie

Hey, Sophie.

Since I only have five minutes, I want you to know first that I love you very much. I remember when you were just a puppy, and you used to chew on my socks under my bed. You did learn to stop, which is great for my socks. I also want you to know some basic things that you seem to have trouble with.

One, baths aren’t going to kill you. You don’t need to run away when you see a water hose; it’s not a murder weapon. All I am trying to do is clean you, because you have a bad habit of rolling in grass and mud. You know perfectly well that Mom would never let you hear the end of it if you got her floor covered in mud and grass. So, please just stand still because the sooner we finish, the sooner you can go back to play.

Two, I can tell when you do something wrong. You aren’t as sneaky as you think you are. You have a look on your face that says everything I need to know, so when you don’t make eye contact, know that I know you messed up somehow. It won’t make me love you any less, but don’t pull an act like something happened out of thin air.

Three, squirrels are not the enemy. I know you are a terrier, and it’s in your nature, but squirrels don’t harm or ruin anything in the back yard. You just chase them because they look funny. You don’t have to protect us from terrorist squirrels, so you can ease up if you see one in a tree.

Four, I cannot feed you human food no matter how much you beg. I cannot stress enough how bad human food is for you, and your health isn’t all too hot to begin with. I can give you a bite of turkey on Thanksgiving or a French fry that drops on the floor, but you can’t expect me to give you my dinner to snacks. It won’t ever happen.

Five, I know you get ignored because you aren’t the puppy anymore, and there was a puppy for years. I could tell that you felt replaced, and I want to say that you were my favorite, because I grew up with you. I named you when I was 8, and I wouldn’t throw those years away because we got you a little sister. You aren’t forgotten or being ignored, I promise.

Know that I will always love you.

-Tori

Writing Assignment: A Snapshot of a Story

Here is a simple haiku about the original story of the Little Mermaid. In the original tale, she didn’t end up with the prince. He ended up marrying another woman while she turned into seafoam and dies. Of course, Disney would never use the original tale, but this isn’t the only dark tale Disney has made child-friendly.

Daily Create: Say Something Wrong on the Internet

I chose to purposefully trigger four different fandoms with a simple misquote and image. Now keep in mind, I am a fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings and Star Trek. I just know this would make someone want to respond because it’s so wrong.

Writing Assignment: Facing Your Fears

*One of my biggest fears is needles, so this is the POV of needles.*

“I don’t want to go in there!” screamed the needle in terror as it looked up to see a giant female human and a male human with gloves. She rolled her shirt sleeve up her arm, while the nurse lifted the helpless needle to be assembled for a blood test. The poor needle couldn’t be heard by normal humans, so it’s yelling and pleading fell on deaf ears. The nurse poked the needle into the arm of the human before pulling the back of the syringe back to slowly collect a small sample of thick, dark red blood.

“This tastes AWFUL! It tastes like pennies!” screamed the needle, with its mouth open as the blood passes through it to collect in the syringe. The needle screamed as it was slowly pulled out of the human flesh, and continued to scream after it was disposed of in the toxic needles receptacle. It’s little screams echoed through the waste receptacle, but no human would know the wiser. He didn’t know he was just being used and thrown away until it was too late, and he had no idea he was stuck in there forever; only seeing the light of day for only a few minutes.

Week 3 Summary:

I liked this week. I had more creative writing than anything, which was a nice change of pace. I liked going into breaking down simple tales to see if there is a pattern. It definitely makes me want to look into more films, shows and fairytales to see what they would look like on a chart. I enjoyed the simple daily creates for this week; my favorite being “Say Something Wrong on the Internet”, where I simply trigger four fandoms at once. I falsely referenced Harry Potter, Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings and Star Trek all in one post. While I am a fan of them all, it was fun to purposefully create something false for the sake of laughs. Overall, a simpler week but still an educational one.

The Death of Photography:

Photography is a tricky thing since the popularity of social media. Like the article in the Guardian, we take photos because we rely on technology to help us remember where we are and what we are doing. Photography is less of an art form nowadays and has become a form of a personal journal for the photographer to go back to.

It seems like it’s easy for anyone to be a photographer nowadays. Anyone can get ahold of a decent camera, a tripod and some film. People taking photos nowadays don’t concern themselves with dimension, contrast or any other element of design. People now take pictures of the moment instead of living in it.

We all have made fun of the girl who takes pictures of her food or travels, and we say things along the line of; “Post it on social media or it didn’t happen.” We may mock these people, but we have enabled that and have done it ourselves. I know I personally take photos to remember things. I am a very visual person and I travel a fair amount, and photos help me remember and almost go back to standing where I was. While I give little regard to contrast or composition, I continue to take photos. But, I will not identify as a photographer.

Jim Richardson Photography:

This photo is probably my favorite of Jim Richardson’s, strictly because of his use of color in this. Most of the photo is monochromatic with various shades of deep blue, and then the light shines through and creates complementary colors that work well together at the same time. I love all of the lines in the stone and how some catch the light to the point where they almost glow.

By Any Sketch of the Imagination:

This wasn’t hard to create, it took all of two minutes. I took a picture of an elephant I took recently at the Kansas City Zoo. I then uploaded it to the Photoshop and went through the filter gallery. I chose a charcoal pencil filter and adjusted some settings so it looked the way I wanted to.

Earth (Recycle):

Week 4 Summary:

This week was mostly focused on photography. I do like photography, but I do know it’s not my desired avenue. Despite that, I did have fun with pictures because I take pictures everywhere I go so I don’t forget visuals. It was fun to create some things and I got to play with Photoshop some more, so that is always a good thing in my case. Overall, I enjoyed this week.

Audio Assignment: Spooky Season

I created this spooky audio by taking four different audios from Freesound. I then found a spooky image for the cover, and I made the audio on Adobe Premiere Pro. It took me about ten minutes to put it all together and then make it on SoundCloud so I could attach a link here.

Daily Create: Ransom Note

Daily Create: Cool Down Our Planet

I created this on Photoshop, which took longer than it should’ve. It wasn’t because of the design, it took me all of 10 minutes to put together. Photoshop wasn’t opening again after starting the design, which took forever to work with. Once it was figured out, I made sure the rest of the design was good enough before I exported it.

Daily Create: #ReplaceLoveWithMontyPython:

One of the biggest love songs, that came first to my mind was Can’t Help Falling in Love With You. So, I figured it was perfect for this create.

Design Assignment: Favorite Movie Quote

One of the my favorite movie quotes of all time was the closing line in the Usual Suspects when we find out we knew who Keyser Soze all along. It still has been one of my favorite movie quotes of all time because I remember who floored I was when the reveal was given. Still the one of the best ways to finish a film.

Daily Create: Smile Please!

I figured I would do different smiles, since I couldn’t decide!

Design Assignment: Album Art From Photos

I made this on Photoshop using a photo I took of a light-centered piece at the Museum of Art in Kansas City. I find neon as art is super fascinating if it is used well, like this piece. I decided to adjust some things through the Camera Raw Filter to adjust some neon colors and specs before I downloaded a futuristic font off of Adobe to use for the album. I picked a band name after the Greek god Aeolus, which is the god of wind. I find the name pretty cool for a band, and so I added it to the cover to create this. I would like to think this band has an alternative sound like hints of techno.

Daily Create: Bouquet

I wanted to use a bouquet like in the create, but I wanted to do something more than just a bouquet. So, I took the flowers and masked them onto a woman in a pink gown to make it look like the flowers were apart of her dress. Now, if I had more time, I would make the flowers smaller and edit more to make it blend, but you get the idea of what I was going for.

Design Assignment: 2 in 1 Movie

This is a movie I didn’t know I needed until I made the poster.

Design Assignment: Sports Poster

I wanted to make a sports poster for my favorite team of all time, the San Antonio Spurs. I grew up going to their games, and so the team is held dear to my heart. When I saw a sports poster assignment, I knew exactly what sport and team I was going to represent, and I’m happy with how it came out with 10 minutes of work.

Week 6 Summary

This week was fun! I got to make more composite projects than I have in some time, which was fun to make! It was definitely a nice relief with all of the trigonometry and web design I have to do almost every day. My favorite project was the Deadpool 3 poster. I knew I had to do Bob Ross something for a project, and so I figured, it would be perfect if I incorporated Deadpool, since he has referenced Bob Ross multiple times. I think overall, this week was easy for me, but fun to do!

Daily Create: Trees

Radio Show Progress:

The group has discussed some details over Discord. We have been discussing possible spooky content for the radio show. There is a possibility of each of us sharing a creepy story that happened to us personally, and we each get five minutes to tell our stories. For the ads, I have suggested comical ads with a spooky theme, but we haven’t gone too deep into that discussion. We do need to come up with a name for the radio show so we can each get started on logos or images for the show. I also suggested that we need to have a date where each of us have our stories written down to be five minutes each, but we haven’t yet decided a date for that.

Radio Show Progress, Part 2:

Planning this radio show has been interesting, I would say. I have been able to have contact with three students out of the whole group. My job for this project is a 5 minute story, which I have the script for, and I also have to edit everything into one final product on Premiere Pro. But, the issue is, I cannot do that until I get everyone’s segments and the order list that everyone goes in.

I’m trying to check in as much as I can, asking everyone’s subject matter, saying what I need for my end of the project, and so on. I haven’t been getting much feedback. There is only about half of the group sharing their work or even talking on Discord in general. I’m worried we aren’t gonna get everything done in time, and that worries me a little. This is one of the bigger projects that I have going on, because of all that is needed, and how long it is taking to wait for everyone to finish to I could put everything together really quick. I don’t think editing it would take very long. I just need everyone’s files with their recordings, some background music, and just place it all in the order that was established at the beginning. I’m just hoping people stick to it.

I am currently waiting for some feedback on a revised logo and some questions I had, but I haven’t really been seeing anyone answer. So, I have my script done, and I plan on finishing the recordings and get some sound effects. That’s all I can do until I get everything else to make it into an actual show. I really hope this works out.

Daily Create: Old West Speak Generator:

How awkward…

Week 8 Summary:

I think the radio show pulled together very nicely with all things considered. There was a minor delay due to one of our group members having some personal issues that put a slight pause on things; but, she pulled through and knocked it out on Sunday night, and I went on Premiere Pro to put everything together.

It went just like I figured; not long to put together. Ashley sent me an ordered list and who is going in what order, and the order of the content by names, so that way, I could arrange everything easily. Once everyone was done with their stories/bumpers/ads/closings or openings, I had everyone send me their completed mp3 files with their name attached, like; “Tori.mp3”, and I put things in the agreed order. Now, I did need to do some tweaking here and there. I added a couple of default transitions to some places where there was an abrupt stop, and I also adjust volume of a couple of people because they spoke so quietly compared to others who projected, so I adjusted volume settings in some segments to make it sound more evened out. I found it fun to put together!

Once I was finished with the final show, I asked everyone in the group to listen to it completely and give me the okay before we sent it in. I sat and waited over 30 minutes for all of them to listen to the whole thing. Once everyone listened and gave the okay, then we were finished, and Ashley sent in the final show on the group’s behalf. I think everyone and everything ended up going better than we were anticipating, which is best case scenario in this case.

MovieClips: Back to the Future- Skateboard Chase

Within the first minute of this iconic clip from Back to the Future, I tallied 31 total edits. I tallied when I saw camera movement, a cut to a new angle and so on. I was constantly tallying and it was going so fast in the first minute alone. Knowing that, it puts the rest of the movie into perspective in terms of how many cuts or camera movements are involved for an eventful movie like this.

Do The Hitch Cut- Se7en

I decided to use the editing method on one of my favorite suspense thrillers of all time, Se7en. For those who wanted to know what is in the box, well, now you know.

Planning for Mini Documentary:

I have to admit, this assignment has me a little stuck; all because I have no idea who I am going to interview. I don’t know many people in Salina on a really deep level, and I’m not sure how to go about asking people I barely know for an interview. I figure I would have a better shot interviewing someone at my work versus someone from school; I would have a better chance of knowing at least something about them personally.

Once I pick someone to interview, (and they agree), then I’m sure it will be easier from there to interview about something interesting or crazy about them. I think my biggest setback is finding someone. I am not the most social of animals, and so I’m not sure how I will go about asking people personal questions when I don’t do that usually. I need to make a list of potential people I could interview and start there; if I can’t find anyone from that, then I start asking people who weren’t on the list, and see what story they have to tell.

Impress Me!- Final

For this final, I decided to go with the more creative option and go with the first Impress Me! project. After I reached out to find information, I did digging on subjects that were brought up such as inspirational figures and favored art styles. I looked into the inspiring figures, and I settled on Tank Man, because his story is very intriguing while we still have no idea of his identity. I chose to use Tank Man as the inspiration to this project, and I chose pop art as the style.

I fiddled with color schemes and basic layout until I got what I have now. Here are some steps I took:

  • I set up the Tank Man into four even sections to set up the pop art structure. I then added a bold black outline to the piece because I noticed borders around images in various pop art designs.
  • I then duplicated each layer of the Tank Man images and dragged them downward, to give a three-dimensional effect to the Tank Man design.
  • I then changed filter types on the top right and bottom left images to ‘Subtract’ to invert the design, making them look like they are alternating.
  • I then chose colors for each color after going through Blending Options, and I picked four different color overlays, each varying in opacity depending on the color.
  • After each color was chosen, (which took an hour in itself with rearranging and choosing new colors every seven minutes), I then looked into images that had an 80’s aesthetic for possible overlays. I chose a digital abstract design from the 80’s for the top left and bottom right corners, while the top right and the bottom left have neon which was very prominent in 80’s aesthetic. I then used the filter types one more time, and changed the images on top of the Tank Men to “overlay”, so it would be transparent. I still needed to mess with the opacity with a couple, because some overlays were overpowering the design of the Tank Man.
  • I then zoomed in all the way to 500% so I could even out borders and make sure any overlays didn’t overlap into a corner they shouldn’t. All four overlays were different sizes, and so it took some maneuvering to get it in the right spot.
  • I then sent it to a few people. I showed my partner for his opinion, which wasn’t super helpful because he is overly supportive of anything I create. I then showed a few students, including those in the Discord. I did get some feedback about overlays which were super helpful so everything could look more cohesive but still on subject.

So, overall, I would say that I’m pretty happy with how it came out. I was considering the fake brand assignment, but with all of the studying I have had for my trigonometry class (which I’m barely passing), I knew I wouldn’t be able to give quality with not much time to work with. Plus, I know that these kind of projects give me more creative freedom, which I enjoy working with. I do like how this came out so much that I think I may add it to my digital portfolio.
